Karachi, PICIC Insurance Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that annual general meeting of the company is scheduled to be held on April 29, 2022 at Karachi.
The agenda of the meeting will be confirming the minutes of Annual General Meeting held on April 30, 2021, to receive, consider and adopt the Annual Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2021 together with the Directors and Auditors Reports thereon, to appoint auditors for the year ending December 31, 2021 and fix their remuneration and to transact any other business with the permission of the chair.
Further, the closed period of the company is from April 23, 2022 to April 29, 2022 (both days inclusive).
PICIC Insurance Limited was incorporated on April 23, 2004 as a public limited Company and registered as a non-life insurance company by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). It is engaged in providing all classes of non-life insurance business. PICIC Insurance Limited is a general insurance company dealing with all classes of general insurance business.
The total numbers of shares are 35,000,000. The Earnings per share was (0.06) in 2019. The Company had a loss if Rs. 12,000 in 2020 which was 2,175,000 in 2019.
