According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank's paid-up capital will rise from 4.29 billion to 5.45 billion rupees following this issuance. This significant move aligns with the bank's strategic financial objectives and reflects its commitment to enhancing its capital base through targeted share allocations.

The SECP's approval comes with conditions that include the issuance of shares exclusively in book-entry form within 60 days from the approval date. Furthermore, sponsors and associated companies must retain their shares for two years, while other investors will have a six-month retention period.

This development follows the submission of requisite documentation to the Central Depository Company (CDC), including SECP's approval, audited accounts, and Form 7 alterations certified under the Companies Act 2017. These steps ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate the smooth allocation of shares.
