UnicapModaraba was formed under the Modaraba Companies and Modarabas (Floatation and Control) Ordinance, 1980 and the rules framed there under. The modaraba was managed until May 3, 2000, by Chartered Management Services Private Limited and thereafter the management was transferred to Al-ZaminModaraba Management Private Limited as the registration of the former was cancelled by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The Modaraba is perpetual and multi-purpose floated in Pakistan. It is listed on Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore Stock Exchanges of Pakistan. The registered office is situated at Karachi.
The symbol “UCAPM” is being used by the stock exchange for the shares of UnicapModaraba.
