First Punjab Modaraba Announces Approval of Annual Accounts, Share Transfer Book Closure Dates

Lahore, First Punjab Modaraba, a leading financial institution, has informed its investors and stakeholders that the Board of Directors, in its meeting held on July 30, 2023, has approved the annual audited accounts for the year ended December 31, 2022.

According to the approved financials, the Unconsolidated Profit and Loss Account for the year ending December 31, 2022, reported a loss of Rs. 86,567,149, with a loss per certificate of Rs. 2.54 (basic and diluted). The Consolidated Profit and Loss Account for the same period indicated a loss of Rs. 89,576,740, with earnings per certificate of Rs. 2.63 (basic and diluted).

Despite the challenging financial results, the Board has not approved any cash dividend or bonus issue during this meeting.

To facilitate necessary processes and adjustments, the Share Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from August 21, 2023, to August 28, 2023, both days inclusive. This closure period aims to ensure smooth and accurate handling of ownership transfers and shareholding records.
