Karachi, The Lucky Cement Limited and Al-Shumookh group, has announced plans to increase its clinker production capacity in Samawah, Iraq. The expansion aims to secure the supply of clinker for the Joint Venture (JV) cement grinding facility in Basra, Iraq, and achieve self-reliance in clinker availability within the country.
The new production line, with a capacity of 1.82 million tons per annum (MTPA), will significantly enhance the overall operational efficiency of Material Information. By adding this additional capacity, the company aims to meet the rising demand for cement in Iraq effectively.
