The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned Monday's terrorist attack near the National Cancer Institute in Kasr al-Ainy area of Cairo, in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which left dozens of people dead and injured.
In a statement on Tuesday, OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen affirmed the Organization's solidarity with Egypt in combating terrorism and extremism, as well as with the Egyptian government in the measures taken to preserve the country's security and interests.
Al-Othaimeen extended his condolences to the leadership and the government of Egypt and to the families of the victims. He also wished a speedy recovery to all those wounded in this horrific terrorist act
