Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has released the trading and settlement schedule for the Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) for October 2026. According to the report dated July 31, 2026, the trading for these contracts will commence on August 3, 2026, a Monday, and conclude on October 30, 2026, a Friday. The settlement of these contracts is scheduled for November 2, 2026, which falls on a Monday.
The PSX has attached a list of eligible securities for trading as 'Annexure A' and has noted that the schedule is subject to alteration if necessary.
In a related development, the PSX has introduced several new securities into the DFC Market. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited (HMB), Loads Limited (LOADS), Media Times Limited (MDTL), and Waves Home Appliances Limited (WAVESAPP) have been added to the list of eligible securities. The trading and settlement schedule for these securities will follow a monthly pattern, with trading opening on August 3, 2026, and closing at the end of each respective month through October.
Additionally, several securities will be part of the eligible list for DFC-OCT-2026 but will be removed thereafter. These include Agha Steel Ind. Ltd (AGHA), BankIslami Pakistan Limited (BIPL), First Dawood Properties Limited (FDPL), Pioneer Cement Limited (PIOC), At-Tahur Limited (PREMA), and the JS Momentum Factor Exchange Traded (JSMFETF*).
