Karachi, Colgate Palmolive Pakistan Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that annual general meeting of the company is scheduled to be held on September 21, 2021 at Karachi.
The agenda of the meeting will to receive, consider and adopt the Annual Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended June 30, 2021 together with the Directors and Auditors Reports thereon, to declare final dividend in cash @240% i.e. Rs. 24.00 per share of Rs. 10.00 each and by way of issue of fully paid bonus shares @15% in the proportion of three shares for every twenty shares of Rs. 10.00 each held by the members as recommended by the board of directors, to appoint auditors for the year ending June 30, 2021 and fix their remuneration and to transact any other business with the permission of the chair.
Further, the closed period of the company is from September 15, 2021 to September 21, 2021 (both days inclusive).
The Company is incorporated in 1977 as a Public Limited Company with the name of National Detergents Limited. The name of the Company was changed to Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited on March 28, 1990 when the Company entered into a Participation Agreement with Colgate-Palmolive Company, USA. The Company is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of detergents, personal care and other related products
