Karachi, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that in compliance to the order of the honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan on December 17, 2021 in Civil Review Petition Nos. 292 to 302 of 2021 and others whereby the Apex Court has restored the services of reinstated employees taking into consideration the services rendered by them, in exercise of Court’s jurisdiction. The company has restored the services of 716 employees who were relieved in compliance to the Supreme Court’s judgment on August 17, 2021.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) was incorporated as a private limited Company in 1963 and converted into a public limited company in January 1964. The Company took over the existing Sui-Multan System (217 miles of 16 inch and 80 miles of 10 inch diameter pipelines) from Pakistan industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) and Dhulian-Rawalpindi-Wah system (82 miles of 6 inch diameter pipeline) from Attock Oil Company Limited.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) is the largest integrated gas company serving more than 7.13 million consumers in North Central Pakistan through an extensive network in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The company has also expanded its activities as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor to undertake the planning, designing and construction of pipelines, both for itself and other organizations.

SNGPL transmission system extends from Sui in Baluchistan to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa comprising over 9,143.75 KM of Transmission System (Main lines & Loop lines). The distribution activities covering 5,065 main towns along with adjoining villages in Punjab & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are organized through 16 regional offices. Distribution system consists of 140,003 KM of pipeline.

The Company is listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited with the total number of shares of the Company that is 634,216,665. The Earnings per shares of the Company is 9.46 in 2020 which was 11.16 in 2019. The Profit after taxation in 2020 is Rs. 5,997,709,000 which was 7,075,834,000 in 2019.

Karachi, EFU Life Assurance Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange about transaction of shares of the company. 63,900 shares @ Rs. 207.74 per share were bought from the market on December 30, 2021 through CDC.

EFU Life Assurance Limited is a Public Limited company incorporated in Pakistan on August 9, 1992. The company is engaged in life insurance business which includes ordinary life business, pension fund business and accident and health business. It is a subsidiary of EFU General Insurance Ltd.

Karachi, Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that Mr. Muhammad Ali has been appointed as Director of the company with effect from December 31, 2021 in place of Mr. Muhammad Jamshed.

Karachi, Din Textile Mills Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that Mr. Muhammad Naveed Yar Khan has been appointed as Company Secretary of the company with effect from January 01, 2022 in place of Mr. Islam Ahmed.

Karachi, Baluchistan Glass Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange about transaction of shares of the company. 25,714,156 shares @ Rs. 0.03 per share were bought from the market on December 29, 2021 through CDC.

Baluchistan Glass Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a public limited company in 1980. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and sale of glass containers, glass table wares and plastic shells. The BGL Unit I manufacturing facility is located at Hub in Baluchistan, approximately 35 km from Karachi. BGL-II (Ex-Ravi) & BGL-III (Ex- Rachna), taken over in December 2002, are both located on the Lahore Sheikhupura Road.
