Rawalpindi: A pivotal corporate event is scheduled to unfold in Rawalpindi as the 73rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of a prominent local company is set to take place on October 17, 2024. This meeting, also marked as the 95th general assembly of the company, will be accessible to shareholders both in person and via the Zoom application.

The primary agenda for this AGM includes the approval of the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, along with the Directors' and Auditors' reports. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company seeks to affirm its financial health and operational achievements during the past year.

In a significant move reflecting the company’s robust financial performance, the Board of Directors has proposed a final cash dividend of Rs. 70 per share, which is a 700% payout. This is in addition to an interim dividend of Rs. 25 per share or 250%, already distributed to shareholders, culminating in a total annual dividend of Rs. 95 per share or 950%.

The AGM will also see the reappointment of the company’s current auditors, Messer A.F. Ferguson and Co., Chartered Accountants, for the upcoming fiscal year, with their remuneration to be determined during the meeting.
