Karachi, Murree Brewery Company Limited, one of Pakistan's leading beverage companies, has notified its members about the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled for July 24, 2023, in Rawalpindi. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct director elections for the next term of three years.

In compliance with Section 159(3) of the Companies Act, 2017, the Company has received notices of intention from seven individuals to offer themselves for election as directors. The names of the candidates have not been disclosed at this time.

According to the provisions of Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017, the number of candidates offering themselves for election does not exceed the number of directors fixed by the Board. As a result, these individuals shall be deemed elected as Directors of Murree Brewery Company Limited for the upcoming three-year term, commencing from July 27, 2023.
