Karachi, Samba Bank Limited has issued a notice to the TFC holders regarding the upcoming fifth principal repayment ('redemption') and profit payment of Tier II TFC, scheduled for September 1, 2023. To facilitate the process, the Register of TFC holders will remain closed from August 25, 2023, to August 31, 2023 (both days inclusive).

The payment for the profit and redemption will be disbursed to those TFC holders whose names are listed in the Register of TFC holders as of August 24, 2023, at the close of business.

In accordance with sub-clause (i) of Clause 5C.8. of Chapter 5C of Pakistan Stock Exchange's Rule Book (updated as of June 13, 2023), Samba Bank Limited is required to make principal repayment and profit payment to the SBLTFC holders solely through direct credit in their respective IBANs. Therefore, the bank requests all TFC holders to ensure their bank account details, including valid IBANs, are updated in their respective CDS accounts. Additionally, any changes in address should be promptly forwarded, along with valid tax exemption certificates (if applicable), to the Bank's Registrar. This measure ensures a smooth and accurate payment process for all TFC holders.
