Karachi, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has undergone a reconstitution of its Board of Directors in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division). The Ministry conveyed these directions through a letter dated August 06, 2023, aiming to effect changes in the Independent Directors of the company.

At an emergent meeting held on August 07, 2023, the Board of Directors of SNGPL promptly adopted and implemented the recommended changes with immediate effect.

The reconstitution involves both incoming and outgoing directors. The new members of the board include Mr. Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, who has been appointed as the Chairman, and Mr. Arif Saeed, Ms. Faaria Rehman Salahuddin, Sardar Saadat Ali Khan, and Mr. Ahmad Ateeq Anwer, who have joined as Directors.

The outgoing members, whose tenure on the board has ceased, include Ms. Roohi Raees Khan, the Ex-Chairperson, along with Syed Akhtar Ali, Dr. Sohail Razi Khan, and Mr. Mohammad Haroon, who have stepped down as Directors.
