Karachi, Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited is pleased to announce the successful distribution of a 40% interim cash dividend, equivalent to Rs. 4 per share, for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2023. This dividend was approved by the company's Board of Directors during its 106th Meeting held on August 23, 2023.

The dividend distribution was conducted on September 21, 2023, through electronic means, directly into the designated bank accounts of shareholders who had submitted a copy of their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and their valid International Bank Account Number (IBAN) with complete details.

However, in accordance with the requirements of Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, and Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, the bank withheld dividends for shareholders who provided incorrect or incomplete bank account details or failed to provide their bank details, including a valid IBAN.

Shareholders who have not yet received their cash dividends due to the withholding are urged to promptly contact the Bank's Share Registrar or Participant/Investor Account Services of CDC Share Registrar Services Limited (as applicable). To facilitate the release of the withheld cash dividend, shareholders should provide a legible copy of their valid CNIC and furnish complete bank account details, including a valid IBAN.
