Karachi: The Board of Directors of Sanghar Sugar Mills Limited has made significant leadership appointments, as per the meeting held on November 8, 2023. Mr. Ghulam Dastagir Rajar has been elected as the Chairman of the Board for a three-year term starting from November 4, 2023. Concurrently, Mr. Ghulam Hyder has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, with a remuneration set at Rs. 1,275,000 per month, along with other benefits and allowances.

Moreover, Haji Khuda Bux Rajar has been named as an Executive Director, with a monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,175,000, also inclusive of benefits and allowances. All appointments are for a three-year term, with the stipulation that appointees may resign or be replaced earlier according to the applicable laws.

These strategic appointments and remunerations are in line with the legal provisions and reflect the company's adherence to corporate governance requirements. The company has communicated these resolutions in compliance with the Securities Act, 2015, and the regulations of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
