Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has completed its latest re-composition of the Meezan Pakistan Index (MZNPI) as of June 14, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This adjustment in the index's composition reflects changes in the participating companies, with certain companies making their entry while others have been removed.
The re-composition exercise aligns with the established index rules and is aimed at ensuring the index accurately represents the evolving market dynamics. The changes include the addition of D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited, The Searle Company Limited, and Air Link Communication Limited to the index. These companies replace Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, respectively.

These changes will be officially implemented starting July 03, 2024. The PSX notes that these updates are part of routine efforts to maintain the relevancy and accuracy of the MZNPI, reflecting shifts in market performance and capitalization of the included companies.
