The announcement was addressed to all TRE Certificate Holders, staff, and other concerned parties, indicating the suspension of trading activities on these dates. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this closure aligns with the traditional commemoration of Ashura, a significant period in the Islamic calendar marked by mourning and remembrance.
The market is expected to resume normal operations on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
