Karachi: Safina Danish Elahi, a director at Blue-Ex Limited, has executed a transaction to purchase shares in the company, the details of which were announced today. The transaction involved the purchase of one share at a rate of 23.62 PKR, in a transaction that conforms to the regulations of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transaction took place on July 10, 2024. It was conducted through the Central Depository Company (CDC) form of share certificates and was categorized under market regular conditions. This move by Elahi is part of the routine disclosure of interests by directors, CEOs, and significant shareholders under PSX regulations clause 5.6.4.
The company has confirmed that this transaction will be discussed in the upcoming board meeting. They will address any potential non-compliance issues as required by clause No. 5.6.1(d) of PSX regulations. Blue-Ex Limited also noted that if the holding period for these transactions is less than six months, the profits will be subject to a cheque deposit with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). This is mandated under Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, and must be reported to the PSX.
