Blue-Ex Limited Director Executes Share Purchase Under PSX Regulation Compliance

Karachi: Blue-Ex Limited has reported a transaction involving the purchase of company shares by Director Safina Danish Elahi, which occurred on July 31, 2024. The Director acquired 1,395 shares at a rate of 56.10 each, registered under the Central Depository Company (CDC) form, in compliance with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this transaction will be reviewed in the upcoming board meeting to ensure there were no breaches of compliance as stipulated under clause No. 5.6.1(d) of the PSX Regulations. This clause mandates thorough disclosure of such transactions and provides an accountability framework for executives of listed companies.

Additionally, the company confirmed that if the shares are held for less than six months, any profits made from this transaction will be reimbursed. A cheque for the profit amount will be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as required by Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, and reported to the PSX. This measure is part of regulatory procedures to prevent undue profit-taking by insiders within a short trading period.
