Karachi: Sally Textile Mills Limited has reported several share purchase transactions by its top executives and directors. The details, provided under the PSX Regulations clause 5.6.1.0, reveal that these transactions spanned from July 24 to August 2, 2024.
Mian Iqbal Salhuddin, an Executive Director at Sally Textile Mills, executed multiple transactions, buying a total of 36,591 shares at a rate of PKR 6.00 per share. These transactions were conducted through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the 'Ready' market category.
Similarly, Mian Asad Salahuddin, a Non-Executive Director, acquired 15,908 shares on two separate occasions, adhering to the same purchase rate and market conditions.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the most active buyer was Mian Yousaf Salahuddin, another Executive Director, who made a series of purchases totaling 44,421 shares during the reported period. His transactions also adhered to the standard rate and were conducted through the CDC.
Sally Textile Mills has confirmed that these transactions will be reviewed in the subsequent board meeting, where any non-compliances will be addressed as mandated by clause No. 5.6.1(d) of PSX Regulations. Furthermore, the company has assured that if any transactions occurred within a six-month holding period, profits would be reconciled according to Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with the necessary funds deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
