Karachi: A fraudulent claim has surfaced on social media involving groups named 'A54 - IS account opening group / SEBI, and UBS Securities Exchange Academy,' which are falsely alleging a collaboration with JS Global. The misleading information was disclosed through WhatsApp groups, as confirmed by documents provided for reference.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), JS Global, a notable market player, along with its directors, sponsors, and employees, has categorically denied any links to these groups. The company has clarified that it holds no responsibility for any activities or transactions made with these entities.

JS Global has issued a strong advisory to the general public to exercise caution and verify any claims of association or collaboration purported by these groups. Additionally, the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange have been duly informed to disregard the fraudulent claims and to alert others within their networks.

The situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by reputable firms in safeguarding their brand integrity against misuse on digital platforms.
