Karachi: In a forthcoming financial event, Habib Bank Limited will close its books for the twentieth profit payment of its ADT-1 Term Finance Certificate, labeled "HBLTFC2," from September 20 to September 26, 2024, as disclosed in a notice set to appear in prominent newspapers including the Business Recorder and Daily Jang on Thursday, September 6, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the profit payment is due on September 26, 2024. Holders of the "HBLTFC2" certificates must ensure their transactions are recorded by the close of business on September 19, 2024, to be eligible for the profit payment. The register of names will freeze during the book closure period, ensuring that those listed as holders by the specified cutoff will receive their profits directly.

The payment procedure, as stipulated under Sub-Clause (i) of Clause 5C.8. of Chapter 5C of PSX Regulations, mandates direct deposit into the International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs) of the certificate holders. The bank has issued a notice urging all TFC holders to update or confirm their IBAN details in their respective Central Depository System (CDS) accounts. Additionally, TFC holders are requested to notify the bank’s registrar, M/s. CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, located at CDC House, 99-B, Block 'B', S.M.C.H.S., Main Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, of any changes in their addresses or tax statuses to ensure the accurate delivery of their profit payments.
