Nestle Pakistan Director Makes Multiple Stock Purchases

Karachi: On September 3, 2024, Syed Babar Ali, a Non-Executive Director of Nestle Pakistan Limited, executed multiple transactions to buy shares of the company, according to a recent disclosure required under PSX Regulations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transactions involved the purchase of shares at varying prices. Specifically, Syed Babar Ali acquired 9,447 shares at a rate of PKR 7,000.00 per share, followed by one share at PKR 6,995.00, and two more shares at the same rate, all through the Central Depository Company (CDC).

These transactions will be presented for review at the subsequent board meeting, where any non-compliances with PSX Regulation 5.6.1(d) will be addressed. The company confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. In cases where transactions fall within a six-month period, profits are required to be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as mandated under Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015.
