Karachi: Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited, formerly known as The General Tyre and Rubber Company of Pakistan Limited, has issued a notice regarding the loss of share certificates belonging to the estate of the deceased shareholder, Yousuf. A total of 1,309 shares are reported missing, under folio number 7723, and the company is now taking steps to address this issue.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the missing certificates are identified with distinctive numbers from 102726203 to 102727511. The company has alerted the PSX members not to engage in any transactions with these shares and has provided a seven-day window for any objections to be filed against the issuance of duplicate certificates.
If no objections are received within this period, Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company will issue duplicate shares to the legal heirs or representatives of the deceased shareholder, ensuring that the rights and holdings of Mr. Yousuf's estate are secured and maintained.
