Karachi: Pioneer Cement Limited has received indemnity claims from shareholders for the loss of eighteen share certificates representing a total of 1,324 shares. The certificates in question, belonging to shareholders Mr. Muhammad Ibrahim Saifullah and Mrs. Razia Sultana Saifullah, were reported missing recently, triggering a process that could lead to the issuance of duplicate shares.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the lost certificates span multiple folios and distinctive numbers, with both shareholders holding significant amounts of shares in the company. The detailed records show that the lost certificates were assigned to folio numbers 6797 and 6798, involving share certificate numbers ranging from 62892 to 62901 and others, covering distinctive numbers from 48791001 to 163275665.
The company has announced that if no claims are made against these certificates, duplicate shares will be issued seven days after the notification published by the Pakistan Stock Exchange. This measure ensures that the shareholders' interests are protected while maintaining regulatory compliance and transparency in handling such incidents.
