Karachi: IGI Holdings Limited has successfully credited its interim cash dividend for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. The dividend, termed D-50, was electronically transferred into shareholders' designated accounts on September 18, 2024, reflecting a 20% dividend rate, or Rs. 2 per share.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this dividend distribution complies with Clause 5.6.9 (b) of the PSX Rule Book. The company has also announced that the notice regarding this dividend will be published in major newspapers, Business Recorder in English and Nawai-Waqt in Urdu, on Monday, September 30, 2024.
In line with the requirements of the Companies Act, 2017 and the Companies (Distribution and Dividends) Regulations, 2017, IGI Holdings has withheld dividends for shareholders who failed to provide valid CNIC numbers or account details. These shareholders are urged to submit the necessary information to FAMCO Share Registration Services (Private) Limited to receive their dividends electronically.
Shareholders who hold physical shares need to provide their details through an electronic credit mandate form available on the company's website. Those with shares in electronic form must update their details with the Central Depository Company (CDC) or through CDC Investor Account Services. Additionally, the Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR), accessible via CDC's e-Services Web Portal, offers shareholders the ability to track their dividend status, including payments, withholdings, and net amounts credited.
