Haripur: Khyber Textile Mills Limited has scheduled its 63rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for shareholders on October 25, 2024. The meeting will take place at the company's registered office in Baldher, District Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The primary agenda for this year's AGM includes the adoption of the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. These statements encompass both the Directors’ and Auditors’ Reports. Shareholders will be tasked with considering and approving these financial documents during the meeting.

Additionally, the assembly will appoint auditors for the next fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The current auditors, Clarkson Hyde Saud Ansari Chartered Accountants, have been recommended for reappointment by the Board of Directors. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the board's endorsement comes after the auditors consented to and confirmed their eligibility for another term. Their remuneration will also be determined at the meeting.

The AGM will further address any other ordinary business authorized by the Chair, ensuring that all procedural aspects of company governance are adhered to and shareholder interests are appropriately managed.
