Al-Abid Silk Mills Limited Reports Delay in Quarterly Filing, Eyes Production Resumption

KARACHI: Al-Abid Silk Mills Limited has announced a delay in filing its quarterly progress report for the period ending September 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company communicated its inability to submit the required documentation through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Reporting System (PUCARS) in a letter dated the same day.

The textile manufacturer explained the omission by citing ongoing efforts towards the revival of its operations. The management expressed optimism about resuming commercial production shortly and highlighted the potential for significant job creation, emphasizing the importance of this development for the national economy.

Al-Abid Silk Mills, known for operating one of the largest processing plants in Pakistan, reassured stakeholders of its commitment to full cooperation moving forward.
