Lahore: Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited is set to convene its 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 26, 2024. The meeting will be held at the company’s office in Lahore, where shareholders will review and approve the annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, among other agenda items.

The AGM will start with the confirmation of the minutes from the last meeting held on October 27, 2023. Following this, shareholders will consider and adopt the financial statements along with the Directors' and Auditors' reports. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this year’s meeting agenda also includes the reappointment of the company’s auditors, RSM Avas Hyder Liaquat Nauman, Chartered Accountants, who are up for reappointment after their term expires in the upcoming year.

Additionally, the AGM will address administrative matters, including the fixation of the auditors’ remuneration for the year ending June 30, 2025. The meeting will also provide a platform for the transaction of any other business approved by the chair.
