Leiner Pak Gelatine Ltd. Reports Strong Financial Performance in FY 2024, Propelled by Sales Growth and Operational Efficiencies

Lahore: Leiner Pak Gelatine Ltd., a prominent player in the gelatine and di-calcium phosphate industry, announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, showcasing substantial growth in revenue and profits. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s net sales surged to 3.34 billion rupees from 2.34 billion rupees in the previous year, marking an impressive year-over-year increase. This growth is attributed to enhanced operational efficiencies and expanded market reach.

The company's gross profit increased to 417.89 million rupees, up from 369.56 million rupees last year, reflecting a more profitable product mix and better inventory management. Notably, the net profit after taxation rose significantly to 81.52 million rupees from 66.67 million rupees, supported by stringent cost control measures and a favorable business environment.

Leiner Pak Gelatine’s earnings per share also improved, registering at 10.87 rupees compared to 8.89 rupees in the previous year, indicating robust earnings growth and enhanced shareholder value.

The company’s financial position remains strong with total assets of 1.87 billion rupees. The equity section also showed considerable improvement, with total shareholder equity increasing from 799.83 million rupees in the previous year to 881.35 million rupees by the end of June 2024.
