Karachi: In a recent notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Famco Share Registration Services Pvt. Ltd. announced the recovery of previously lost share certificates belonging to Mr. Muhammad Azhar Muhammad Usman. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the certificates were initially reported missing and have now been found, resolving concerns for the shareholder and the company.

On October 7, 2024, the registrar for Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited confirmed the recovery of eight share certificates with distinct numbers, held under folio number 2814. These certificates represent shares in the textile company, with denominations varying from 45 to 100 shares per certificate. The found shares total 445, all accounted for in this retrieval.

The share certificates were located at the owner's address in the Martina Complex, Block 13 B, Quaishan-e-Torai, Karachi. The details of the certificates and their numbers have been disseminated among the members of the exchange to ensure proper handling and verification in future transactions.

This recovery underscores the importance of meticulous record-keeping and the effective communication systems within Pakistan’s financial and stock registration entities, ensuring that shareholders' investments are secure and accounted for.
