Share Certificate Loss Reported at Pakistan Petroleum Limited

Karachi: A notice has been issued by Famco Share Registration Services on behalf of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) regarding the loss of share certificates belonging to a shareholder. The certificates were reported lost as of October 1, 2024, according to the notification sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The shareholder identified as Mrs. Waheedha Nouralain reported the missing certificates for a total of 73 shares under the folio number X002681. The certificates, numbered 221341, with distinctive numbers 2609505542 and 2609505614, were listed for house no. 175 - K, Block-II P.E.C.H.S., Tariq Road, Karachi.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Famco Share Registration Services has issued a circular to all market participants, instructing them not to transact these shares until further notice. The company has provided a seven-day window for any objections to be raised by members of the exchange or the public. If no objections are filed within this period, duplicate certificates will be issued to Mrs. Nouralain.

This notice serves to protect the interests of the shareholder and ensure the integrity of market transactions involving these certificates.
