Karachi: Cherat Cement Co. Limited has announced a board meeting to be held on October 28, 2024, at the company’s headquarters to deliberate on the financial statements for the quarter ending September 30, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has established a closed period from October 21, 2024, to October 28, 2024, inclusive of both dates. During this time, no director, CEO, or executive is permitted to trade shares of the company, as dictated by Clause 5.6.4 of the PSX Rule Book.

This closed period is a standard practice to prevent any insider trading ahead of the release of significant financial information. The announcement has been made to ensure that all stakeholders, including TRE Certificate Holders of the exchange, are fully informed about the restrictions during this period.
