First National Bank Modaraba to Host Corporate Briefing on Financial Performance

Karachi: First National Bank Modaraba has scheduled a Corporate Briefing Session (CBS) for October 28, 2024, to discuss its financial performance up to June 2024. The session will take place at Lahore, and will also be accessible via a virtual meeting platform.

The briefing will cover the bank’s historical and current financial achievements, focusing on data up until June 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this session is part of the bank's ongoing commitment to transparency and engagement with its certificate holders and financial analysts.

The First National Bank Modaraba, managed by the National Bank Modaraba Management Company, a subsidiary of the National Bank of Pakistan, has shown significant growth over the years. From 2020 to 2024, the bank’s balance sheet size increased from PKR 238.95 billion to PKR 402.51 billion. Despite challenges, it reversed a trend of net losses, reporting a net profit after tax of PKR 34.76 billion in 2024, compared to a loss of PKR 34.07 billion in 2020.

The bank has highlighted these figures to demonstrate its robust recovery and strong management performance over the specified period. This upcoming CBS is expected to provide further insights into the strategies that facilitated this turnaround and how the bank plans to maintain its growth trajectory.
