Karachi: Nishat Chunian Power Limited has announced a forthcoming board meeting set to take place at the company's registered office in Lahore. The meeting, scheduled for October 29, 2024, will focus on reviewing the unaudited financial statements for the first quarter ended September 30, 2024.

In a notification sent to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the company outlined that the board meeting would occur. This session is significant as it will include discussions on the financial performance of the company during the aforementioned period.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has also declared a "Closed Period" from October 22 to October 29, 2024, during which no director, CEO, or executive shall directly or indirectly deal in the shares of the company. This measure is in compliance with Clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations, emphasizing the company's adherence to corporate governance norms.

The notice also highlighted the necessity for TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange to be informed of the meeting, ensuring that all procedural requirements are met in line with regulatory expectations.

Syed Tasawar Hussain, Company Secretary for Nishat Chunian Power Limited, signed the notification, which was addressed to the surveillance and enforcement departments and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
