Lahore: A crucial meeting of the Board of Directors of Allied Bank Limited is scheduled for October 30, 2024, where the third quarterly accounts of the bank for the period ending September 30, 2024, will be reviewed, along with the consideration for declaration of any entitlement.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank has announced a "Closed Period" from October 22, 2024, to October 30, 2024, in compliance with Clause 5.6.4 of the PSX Regulations. During this period, no director, CEO, or executive of the bank is permitted to buy or sell shares of Allied Bank, either directly or indirectly. This measure is designed to prevent any insider trading or conflicts of interest that could arise from access to the sensitive financial results prior to their public release.
