Karachi: International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) has officially submitted a certified copy of the resolutions passed during their 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, as mandated by local regulations. The AGM, which took place on October 23, 2024, covered significant financial decisions and the appointment of auditors for the upcoming fiscal year.
The meeting, held in Karachi, led to the adoption of IPAK's annual financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the audited financial statements and the accompanying directors' reports were officially approved and adopted by the shareholders.
Furthermore, the AGM resolved to appoint A.F. Ferguson and Co., a well-known firm of chartered accountants, as IPAK's auditors for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The decision comes with an agreement on remuneration terms, which were recommended by the board and mutually agreed upon at the meeting.
These resolutions are pivotal as IPAK continues to maintain compliance with PSX regulations, particularly under Regulation 5.6(9)(b) of the PSX Rule Book. The official documentation, signed by Fahad Alam, Company Secretary, was delivered to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, further solidifying IPAK’s commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance in its operations.
