This transition, officially set to occur on October 18, 2024, was decided following the approval of a majority of its current investors.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this change was reviewed and consented to by the majority of existing JSBLTFC4 investors, indicating a strategic shift in handling the sub-debt series, listed since January 4, 2024. The new Issue Agent taking over is Pak Brunei Investment Company Limited, marking a pivotal change in the administration of this financial instrument.
The investor consensus reached 67.19%, with major stakeholders including Kashf Foundation and The Bank of Punjab, Treasury Division, each holding 11.43% of the units. Other notable investors such as JM Microfinance Bank Limited and Tariq Petroleum (Private) Limited also showed support for this transition, showcasing a broad base of institutional trust in the new arrangement.
