Karachi: Hallmark Company Limited has announced a significant expansion in its telecommunications operations, having been granted Fixed Local Loop (FLL) Licenses that cover all 14 Telecom Regions of Pakistan. The licenses, effective from October 22, 2024, empower Hallmark’s subsidiary, Supernet Limited, to enhance its infrastructure and service offerings over the next two decades.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the FLL licenses awarded by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) are set to replace the previously issued Class Value Added Services (CVAS) license. This strategic transition is projected to fortify Supernet Limited's positioning in the market by enabling it to deploy its own infrastructure and provide additional services to its customers.
The company expects that the expansion under these new licenses will lead to increased revenues and improved profit margins for the Group. This development is also anticipated to impact positively on the stakeholders, including the TRE Certificate Holders who have been advised of these changes.
