Karachi: Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited, a key player in the agricultural machinery sector, has released its financial results for the third quarter ending September 30, 2024, showcasing a robust improvement in profits and earnings per share. The company detailed substantial revenue growth and profitability in a recent communication to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

In the third quarter of 2024, Al-Ghazi Tractors reported revenues of Rs 6.30 billion, a significant rise from Rs 11.38 billion in the same period in 2023. The company's gross profit for the quarter also saw a sharp increase to Rs 1.76 billion from Rs 2.06 billion, indicating efficient cost management despite fluctuating market conditions. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the reduction in distribution and administrative expenses contributed to the improved financial outlook.

The firm's operating results highlight a noteworthy turnaround with profit after taxation reaching Rs 635.68 million, up from Rs 980.78 million in the third quarter of 2023. This financial rebound is further emphasized by the earnings per share, which escalated to Rs 10.97 from Rs 16.92, marking a significant recovery in shareholder value.

Al-Ghazi Tractors has also declared an interim cash dividend for this quarter at a rate per share, maintaining its commitment to delivering shareholder returns.
