Lahore: Allied Bank Limited has declared a cash dividend payout following a review of its financial performance for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024. The announcement was made during a Board of Directors meeting held in Lahore on October 30, 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board has approved an interim cash dividend of Rs. 4.00 per share, which equates to a 40% dividend rate for the quarter. This interim dividend is in addition to dividends already paid at Rs. 8.00 per share, or 80%, earlier in the year.
The financial results, discussed in the meeting and later detailed in Annexure A (Unconsolidated) and Annexure B (Consolidated), underscore Allied Bank’s robust financial health and commitment to rewarding its shareholders. The bank has decided against issuing any bonus shares or rights shares as part of its latest corporate actions.
Shareholders registered in the Bank’s records as of the close of business on November 8, 2024, will be eligible for the dividend. The bank’s share transfer books will be closed from November 11, 2024, to November 13, 2024, to facilitate the processing of this entitlement. Transfer requests received by the bank’s Share Registrar, CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi, by November 8 will be honored in time for the entitlement.
The quarterly report for the period ending September 30, 2024, will be transmitted through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Reporting System (PUCARS) within the specified timeframe, further detailing the bank's financial outcomes and strategic direction.
