Karachi: EFG Hermes Pakistan Limited has officially informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) about a significant change in its audit arrangements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. The Board of Directors approved the resignation of the company's previous auditors, Riz Ahmed Saqib Gohar and Co., and appointed Rahman Sarfraz Rahim Iqbal (Chartered Accountants) as the new statutory auditors.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the decision was made during the board meeting held on October 29, 2024. This change marks a crucial transition in EFG Hermes Pakistan's financial oversight practices as the company prepares for the upcoming audit cycle.

Shahid Kamal, the Company Secretary of EFG Hermes Pakistan, has issued a formal request to the General Manager of the PSX, urging that all concerned parties be notified of this auditor change to ensure transparency and compliance. Additionally, a copy of this notification has been forwarded to the Director of the Listed Companies Department, Supervision Division, SECP, in Islamabad, emphasizing the importance of clear communication with regulatory bodies regarding such changes.
