Karachi: On November 11, 2024, a notable transaction involving shares of EFU Life Assurance Ltd was executed by a non-executive director of the company. Saifuddin N. Zoomkawala, holding the position of a non-executive director, completed a "gift out" transaction involving 130,000 shares of the company.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transaction was carried out in the form of Central Depository Company (CDC) shares through the Negotiated Deal Market (NDM). This transaction did not involve any monetary exchange as it was labeled under the category of a "gift out."

Following this transaction, Saifuddin N. Zoomkawala's cumulative shareholding in EFU Life Assurance Ltd stands at 422,399 shares, which constitutes 0.40 percent of the total shares of the company.
