Karachi: Faran Sugar Mills Limited has issued a revised final offer document for its rights issue, amending several key dates to enhance clarity and align with the advice of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The updated document follows the initial release, which was shared through the company's letter and published on the Pakistan Unified Corporate Action Reporting (PUCAR) system on November 15, 2024.
The adjustments include a change in the book closure period, which now spans from November 22, 2024, to November 29, 2024. This amendment serves to provide more clarification for stakeholders. Additionally, the document now specifies that the dates for payment of subscription amounts are referred to as the "Last Dates of Payment of Subscription Amounts," a modification aimed at preventing confusion among shareholders.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the document also includes revised dates for the splitting and deposit of requests into the Central Depository System (CDS). The deadline has been advanced from Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Similarly, the allotment and crediting of shares into the CDS will now occur on Thursday, January 23, 2025, instead of Friday, January 24, 2025.
Furthermore, the revised document incorporates an International Bank Account Number (IBAN) with the account title to facilitate shareholders during the transaction process. The inclusion of this banking detail is intended to streamline operations for involved parties.
With these updates, Faran Sugar Mills Limited aims to ensure a smooth process for its rights issue, reflecting responsive adjustments to stakeholder feedback and regulatory guidance.
