Orient Rental Mod’s Financial Performance Sees Fluctuations Over Two Years

Karachi: Orient Rental Mod has reported varying financial results for the fiscal years ending June 2023 and June 2024, according to its audited financial statements. The company's total assets increased from 2,332 million Pakistani rupees in June 2023 to 2,645 million rupees in June 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's gross profit rose from 439 million rupees in June 2023 to 578 million rupees in June 2024. However, net profit saw a decline from 218 million rupees in June 2023 to 50 million rupees by June 2024.

The financial statements further revealed an increase in paid-up certificate capital, which remained constant at 750 million rupees over the two years. Meanwhile, reserves decreased from 647 million rupees in June 2023 to 607 million rupees in June 2024.

Orient Rental Mod's current liabilities saw an increase, moving from 1,397 million rupees in June 2023 to 1,357 million rupees in June 2024. The statement of financial position shows a rise in certificate holders' net equity from 1,066 million rupees to 1,253 million rupees over the same period.

The company's earnings per certificate and diluted figures saw a significant drop from 2.91 rupees in June 2023 to 0.67 rupees in June 2024. The book value per certificate also decreased from 18.62 rupees to 18.09 rupees during this time.
