Director of Attock Petroleum Limited Acquires Additional Shares

Karachi: Attock Petroleum Limited has announced that Lt Gen (Retd.) Javed Alam Khan, a director of the company, has executed a significant transaction involving the purchase of company shares. According to official documents, the transaction took place on November 18, 2024, and involved the acquisition of 14,000 shares at a rate of 449.89 per share.

The transaction increased Lt Gen (Retd.) Javed Alam Khan's cumulative shareholding to 14,075 shares, which represents approximately 0.0113 percent of the company's total shareholding. The shares were acquired in the form of Central Depository Company (CDC) ready market certificates.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transaction will be presented in an upcoming board meeting of Attock Petroleum Limited, where any non-compliance issues will be highlighted and considered in accordance with clause No. 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations.

The company has confirmed that the holding period for the transaction exceeds six months. Should the holding period be less than six months, the profit equivalent to the transaction would be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as mandated by Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with intimation to PSX.
