Executive at Mari Petroleum Discloses Share Transactions

Islamabad: Mari Petroleum Company Limited has disclosed that an executive of the company, Brig Saad Saeed Naik (Retd), has traded in the company's shares, according to a company statement. The transactions were conducted on November 29, 2024, involving the acquisition of a total of 1,200 shares at rates of 459.8 and 459.5 per share, respectively. The shares were acquired in the ready market, with the form of share certificate being Central Depository Company (CDC).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transactions will be presented in the company’s next board meeting as per the regulatory requirements outlined in clause 5.6.4 of the PSX Regulations.

Furthermore, the company confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. Should any transaction fall within a six-month period, the company has stated that any profit will be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, and with notification to the PSX.
