On January 3, 2025, Mrs. Uzma Abbasi, a non-executive director of the company, executed a significant purchase of shares through Castockco Pk (Private) Limited. The transaction involved the acquisition of 100.00 million shares at a rate of 6.08 per share, increasing her cumulative shareholding to 300.00 million shares, which represents a 5.46% stake in the company.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this transaction will be presented in the upcoming board meeting of Cnergyico Pk Limited. The presentation will include any non-compliance issues observed during the transaction as per clause No. 5.6.4 of the PSX Rule Book. This clause pertains to the disclosure of interests by directors, CEOs, executives, their spouses, and substantial shareholders of listed companies.
Cnergyico Pk Limited has confirmed that the holding period for the transaction exceeds six months. Should the holding period be less than six months, any profit made from the transaction must be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with appropriate notification to the PSX.
