Karachi: Mirpurkhas Sugar Mills Limited has announced the loss of several share certificates, according to an official notice dated January 17, 2025. The company has requested that this information be circulated among members of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to prevent any transactions involving these lost or misplaced certificates.
The affected shareholder is Mohammad Ayub Khan, and a total of 734 shares have been reported missing. The details of the lost share certificates are as follows: Certificate II, with distinctive numbers ranging from 11183272 to 11183294, includes 23 shares; from 12296812 to 12296836, 25 shares; from 13540727 to 13540768, 42 shares; and from 16223097 to 16223740, 644 shares.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has assured that if no objections are received within seven days from the notice's date, duplicate share certificates will be issued to Mohammad Ayub Khan.
Members of the Exchange are advised to refrain from dealing with the aforementioned share certificates until further notice. This precaution is crucial to safeguard the interests of the rightful shareholder and maintain the integrity of the market.
