Karachi: The Government of Pakistan's Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) will be accessible for trading in the secondary market at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) starting July 28, 2025. The listing follows a primary market auction on July 23, 2025, with settlement completed by July 24, 2025.
The GIS will be available through the Jade Trading Terminal (JTT), a BnB enabled platform, offering fresh issues of a 1-Year GIS-Discounted maturing on July 23, 2026, and a 10-Year FRR Zero Coupon maturing on July 24, 2035. The 1-Year GIS-Discounted issue has been priced at a cut-off price of Rs. 90.94 with a rental rate of 9.99%, while the 10-Year FRR Zero Coupon is set at a cut-off price of Rs. 32.20 with a 12% rental rate.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the face value of these Sukuk is Rs. 5,000, with a minimum and maximum buy/sell order quantity set at Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 5,000,000,000, respectively. The GIS trading will adhere to a price tick of 0.0001, with circuit breakers established between 0.0001 and 400.0000. The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) will oversee clearing, settlement, and risk management, while custody will be maintained by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC).
Investors and market participants are advised to enter the face value of Rs. 5,000 and its multiples in the volume field within the trading terminal for processing buy and sell orders.
